Rush Limbaugh

For reporting that is an embarrassment to the profession of journalism, and for being beholden to corporate paymasters rather than the citizens of America.

Perhaps we just crown of the king of Media Putzes. After all, he's the epitome of right-wing talk radio: a pill-popping, Dominican Republic hedonist, thrice-married, demagogic fabulist. And don't forget that he's raking in the bucks for being a microphone for distracting working-class Americans from the corporations and wealthy people who are picking their pockets and stealing their jobs away in the middle of the night.

He's kind of like the huckster "Music Man," although the band never magically appears in River City. In fact, the factories just get shuttered and the town residents are left to fend for themselves when natural disasters occur. They are just suckers, and Limbaugh is an expert at playing the class warfare shell game.

"He knows pornography when he sees it, because he posts it online.  Alex Kozinski, a top Reagan-appointed conservative federal judge, is caught putting up web pornography while overseeing the trial of a pornographer.  He thinks it's all just fun, including the sodomy, the guy giving himself a bl*w job,and two women showing their pubic hair in front of a sign for "Bush for President." Uh, we are not making this up. That is why GOP-appointed Judge Alex Kozinski is the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week."

For reporting that is an embarrassment to the profession of journalism, and for being beholden to corporate paymasters rather than the citizens of America.

Many people tend to give the anchors of the corporate media a free pass because they seem so credible, smooth, and non-partisan.

But appearances can be enormously deceiving. After all, broadcast newscasts are really composed of factoids -- true or untrue -- packaged in the wrapping paper of entertainment. Anchors are chosen for their high ratings in focus groups, not for their excellence in journalism. You might say that when television executives pick an "anchor," the highest consideration is "show me the money" (as in potential ad revenue through high ratings).
