Hope all of you have heard that "The RushIAN LimpBORE" has told his BRAINLESS, ROBOTIC listeners (yes master, yes master) to start riots at the Democratic Convention in Denver, when August rolls around.

Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is sparking controversy again after he made comments calling for riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention this summer.
He said the riots would ensure a Democrat is not elected as president, and his listeners have a responsibility to make sure it happens.
"Riots in Denver the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.
He has already instilled some "chaos" in our "crossover" primaries.
Hopefully, the Denver police and the DNC will be prepared for these Republican tricks and arrest each and every Republican Protester that takes "The RushIAN LimpBORE" up on his plan.
Anyone want to take a wild guess as to how much coverage this will get by the "Liberal Media" when it happens - and they blame THE DEMOCRATIC Party for not being able to control "their own" people?

Subject: Clinton Supporters
I've been nearly rendered speechless by the vitriol heaped on BuzzFlash by Clinton supporters ... but not quite. In yesterday's mailbag one of you seemed to even gloat that perhaps the reason BuzzFlash is so far behind in fundraising this month is because Clinton supporters no longer read or support BuzzFlash. Fine. If it suits you to assuage your childish, emotional reaction to losing by shooting the messenger there's not much that can be done about it, but you might keep in mind that if you don't vote for Obama, should he win the nomination, the Supreme Court will be stacked even further to the right under the stewardship of John McCain. This is what your spite and resentment will get you. Is that what you really want? And have you considered that maybe the contributions are slow this month because the economy pretty much sucks and a lot of people don't have expendable income anymore? I'm one of them.
I'm a supporter of Obama but mind you if Clinton somehow snags a victory from the jaws of defeat I will vote for her, grudgingly perhaps, but I'm an adult now and well know and understand the nightmare of another Republican regime.
Please be adults! There is a whole lot at stake this time around and we can't allow the Republicans to divide and conquer us. Or can we?
Thanks for all you do Buzz, typos, misuse of it's and its, and lengthy headlines, too (how petty was that critique?) Tomorrow I'm sending you another contribution and I implore neutral readers, Obama supporters and yes, even the Clinton supporters to be generous with their wallets and donate. This is an invaluable site!
P.S. Buzz, if you have to resort to some advertising you might consider doing it. I'm sure there are enough progressive businesses around that you could pick and choose who you want to advertise on your site. Don't let your pride stand in the way of getting out your message!

The plan initiated by the administrators of the Bush presidency is working well. Being a baby boomer I see the wrath against such a group of people. The killing of their pensions; the destruction of their health benefits; the ending of their health care; and the crash of social security as we know it. And this is only a partial list of accomplishments of the plan. The housing market has also become a part of the erosion of options for the working class. Disallowing the chance to have a little egg at the end of the road. To accomplish this even further the median wage has decreased for the first time in years. The housing market is a disaster. And those with influence and wealth are skimming the top while the going is good. And until the new president is in place this procedure will continue.

Subject: Weirdness Of The Hard Right!!!
I have this relative who writes to me often, all mostly about how misled I am because I am a Democrat.....he is one of those small town college educated males of the late 60's persuasion whom one would think had not finished high school. Today...I usually read them because there is some humor in them...what else can you do when it is so asinine? This particular week it has been about the horrors of abortion...even though I have told him I am a Democrat....but, I am actually pro-life...I believe it should be legal especially in three instances...the life of the mother...rape and incest. He ignores that, of course, like the life of the Mother is not important (I actually know someone who died recently after being warned).
So he sends along this 'forward' from one John Kenneth Blackwell (yeah...I thought the name was familiar too) and he told us that this was a person who wrote for the NY Sun...and he was BLACK...this is important to this relative because there are not many in the town he lives in, in SW Missouri...you know, John Ashcroft territory? So, Mr. Blackwell...as if he knows one simple thing...says in his own words, that... "The Bible in Revelations, says that the Anti Christ will be a man of Muslim descent...in his forties!" I set my little mind working...went directly to my 54 yr. old King James Version...given to me that many years ago by my in-laws...and found the entire book of Revelations...not that long, likely my grandsons have read it in lickety split time...and no where...NO WHERE folks...could I find where the "Anti Christ' is even mentioned. Not much in the remainder of the Bible either. Mine is the older kind...that has directions as to where you can find certain subjects... So, I write the stupid relative back and tell him that I have sent a letter off to Mr. Blackwell to see where he had gotten the info...since I wanted to read it... Would you believe...that I have heard from neither...? Yeah...I know...
Likely...I will never hear from either...but, I personally think that Mr. Kenneth Blackwell should be tarred and feathered for sending blatant lies to gullible Republicans who think they can pass it off to smart Democrats like us...right?
Let's see now...what might come next?
I personally believe every single thing about John Kenneth Blackwell...sec'y of state of Ohio, who squeezed out of the suits filed against him in the 2004 election...but, who has about 16 suits pending about published social security numbers? I did not know that...

The reprehensible mainstream media are truly the apotheosis of evil. Albeit I am a conspiracy theorist of the first order, but I firmly believe that the MSM have transformed themselves into the practitioners of the dark art of "perception management." By this I mean taking a flat out lie and getting the unwashed multitude thru many devious ways to perceive this as the whole truth. Frankly, I believe that they would prefer McSame as their ideal candidate, but in the name of the fairness doctrine they push for Mrs. Clinton. Before the PA. primary they began the process of elevating HRC to near sainthood, a veritable Joan of Arc. This "art" differs from spin and that is to make the lies appear as truth. Thus they are able from the means available to them never acknowledge their depravity and manage to stay above the fray.
Finally, I will attempt to make my point and it is this: DESTROY BARACK OBAMA. In their tortured logic Hillary or McCain is far better than Obama and they will go the distance to destroy him, his family and the great hope and promise that he brings to this country, if not the world. I predict that they, the MSM will suffer the blowback that they richly deserve and hopefully it will occur before the election. To me HRC and/or McCain are nothing more than wizards of oz; pull back the curtain and voila a big fat fake. In the name of contrition I am truly sorry I ever defended that woman. However, I am an unabashed elitist and happy to be one.

The wealthy in America, and the whole world, just keep getting richer as the middle and below go the other way. We are in a recession but there is more money than ever out there. It's just not divided how it used to be. How much money do these people need? How could they possibly believe in an afterlife and live the way they do? Maybe this guy does do charitable deeds but I'm just showing how ridiculous it is for someone to spend this kind of money on a shirt when people can't afford a house or even food.

Nice analysis but left out voting record. Most important; Obama spoke out like some of us did, against this. HC voted for this costly, endless, illegal Iraq war; she would not meet with anti war groups for years, nor hear their side UNTIL the popular tide turned, about a year ago. We need leadership and vision, and Obama has it.

Subject: Popular Vote
I recently read an article on BuzzFlash that said that caucus state vote totals were not included in the popular vote tallies we are seeing with increasing frequency on news and current events programs.
If this is true, then obviously Obama's share of the popular vote is way larger than is currently being reported.
We need to bombard media outlets with the true story (if indeed caucus state totals have not been included in the "popular vote").
Obviously if I'm wrong and they have been included then we have no argument.
But I don't think I am.

Anyone know how many nuclear warheads it would take to "obliterate Iran"? I don't know either but a little common sense suggests two for each major target (after all the military have been telling us for years that they need new war heads 'cos they just aren't sure these will work).
So, would fifty be a reasonable figure?
Fifty nuclear war heads exploded atmospherically in Iran will create a giant cloud of radioactivity and vast amounts of carbon from the ensuing fires. Most of South East Asia and probably the United States itself would receive fallout and the short term impacts on climate would be catastrophic. Why do you think there hasn't been an atmospheric A-bomb test for many decades?
It would be a very hollow "obliteration." American rednecks bandy around the term "nuke 'em" as if we are using roach killers. Atomic weapons still threaten our very survival. Despite having pledged to do so, the US has not yet reduced its enormous atomic arsenal.
Hillary's inane comments add to my belief that she is totally unfit to control that obscene arsenal.

Boalt Hall Law School in Berkeley, California should do the same to John Yoo.
Call it what you want, terminated, parting, mutual parting, severing, cutting ties, firing, dismissing, not renewing, mutual agreement, etc., but the end result MUST be the same, Yoo MUST GO.
Right now the dean of the law school has stood behind John Yoo, saying that what he did in Washington should not be held against him at Berkeley.
On the other hand, Georgetown University is SEVERING its ties with Feith, BECAUSE they don't CONDONE what he did off campus.
How can a law school, ANY law school, employ a man who has ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT for the laws of our land, the Bill of Rights or the Constitution?
He IGNORED the Geneva Conventions, the Military Field Manual and our own laws.
He rewrote our laws, so the President could ILLEGALLY ORDER A TORTURE PROGRAM, and at the same time, give IMMUNITY to Bush and his administration.

"Electability." That's the only argument left for the Clinton crowd as they seek to spark civil war by having the super delegates overturn the will of the primary voter.
And yes, in today's world, the ability to raise money is part of "electability". Obama has a ton of it. Tens of millions sitting in the bank and the ability to raise tens of millions more at will. The Clinton campaign, despite boasts of having raised a few million since last night, are deeply in debt.

OMG, someone on DailyKos has blogged that Clyburn has heard speculation by someone on the floor and someone in South Carolina that some African Americans who don't know Hillary Clinton have decided she's still in to ruin Obama's run and get the nomination in 2012! Further OMG, rabidly anti-Clinton site Buzzflash touts it with a headline almost as long as the item! It must be true!

Subject: McCain's 'Faith of My Fathers'
I bought a copy of this book, one of his several written with the help of a "ghost," when McCain came thru here in order to get to the second floor of the bookstore so I could hear him speak, size him up. Sat about 10 feet away as he gave us a 15 minute canned speech with much-practiced jokes.
When he said, "So they lie when they say Bush lied," a woman on the other side of the small group quipped not so sotto voce, "Senator McCain, you insult our intelligence."
Being a book person, I went home and read his. What I got from it was the insight that this man really is predominantly a warrior, as he write, and would make a terrible president because of this (in another book he wrote that rage dominated his life that he would literally black out in his blind rages.). His more recent comments affirm this, singing, "Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran," and saying we'll be there a hundred years. This country has grievous problems at home and needs urgently needs a president who is attuned to them instead of another rich man who will continue to sell us to the military industrial complex.
McCain made his name as an "Independent Republican," with reservations about Bush's amateur management of the Iraq War, critical of the wacky Regligious Fundamentalists, and adamantly against torture. In his lust for the presidency he has embraced Bush, literally, and embraced religious leaders who say 9/11 was God's punishment for our evil ways, and now, he has reversed himself and supports Bush's torture policies.
This country cannot afford another 4-8 years of Bush policies.
