BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"Angered by a delay in the receipt of his voter registration card, a Louisiana man today threatened election officials, claiming that he urgently needed to cast a ballot to ‘keep the n****r out of office,’ according to police. Wade Williams, 75, was arrested this morning on a felony terrorizing charge after allegedly calling the Registrar of Voters and warning that he would come to the state office and empty his shotgun unless he got his registration card." And so it begins, the abominable hostility John McCain and Sarah Palin have been hoping for, the violence McCain and Palin have intentionally instigated and provoked, the aggression the Repuglicans have needed to declare “marital law”!!!  May God help America!

“MCCAIN: … You know, my hero is a guy named Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt used to say walk softly -- talk softly, but carry a big stick.”  Hmm, sounds familiar, kinda sorta like, “fool me once, you can’t fool me again”!  These two guys can’t even get their quotes accurate, how in God’s name does anyone really think they can run a country???

BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

An interesting piece of information - "Sarah Palin is accusing Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists." But isn't her husband a former member of a political party which has treason against the United States as its central tenet? Answer: yes." An update: "Lynette Clark, the chairman of the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP), confirmed to ABC News that Mrs. Palin and her husband Todd had both been both members and attended at least one party convention." Note, "both been members"! And then there's this "The party has lobbied since the 1970s for the right to hold a referendum on whether Alaska should secede from the United States. Its motto, "Alaska First," contrasts sharply with the John McCain campaign slogan: 'Country First.'" Since when has secession become Patriotic, I'd say this kind of "Shaking up Washington" is most dangerous if Sarah Palin is elected to office! (Don't miss the video of Palin's support for AIP!)

An interesting analysis of a "contrived hero" and a difference in what we've been led to believe! "It seems apparent John McCain is not a hero and should be viewed as lacking sufficient character to hold the office of the Presidency or the Senate."

If you thought the McCain campaign has been negative thus far, get ready, we ain't seen nothin' yet, the lies have only just begun! With his poll numbers sinking, "AP Poll: Obama takes a 7-point lead over McCain" John McCain will be on the offensive with every negative, nasty, slimy swift-boating, muddy slur his temper can dig up! Forgettabout a dignified campaign, forgettabout "Country First," forgettabout truth, justice and the American way, forgettabout honor; John McCain is a desperate man, he sees this as his time, and he simply cannot wait another 8 years! So look out world, the McCain campaign is all downhill and dirty from here on out!

Just have to wonder if the Repuglicans realize how absolutely ridiculous they are; do they know they are the morons of the 21st Century! To say Nancy Pelosi is responsible for the mess the Repuglicans have made of the economy is not something that even the uninformed in America will swallow!!!

Proof positive that McCain’s “campaign suspension” was a political stunt, that backfired!!!  “Pelosi said Obama would speak for the Democrats. Though later he would pepper Paulson with questions, according to a Republican in the room, his initial point was brief: ‘We've got to get something done.’ Bush turned to McCain, who joked, ‘The longer I am around here, the more I respect seniority.’ McCain then turned to Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to speak first. Boehner was blunt. The plan Paulson laid out would not win the support of the vast majority of House Republicans. It had been improved on the edges, with an oversight board and caps on the compensation of participating executives. But it had to be changed at the core. He did not mention the insurance alternative, but Democrats did. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, pressed Boehner hard, asking him if he really intended to scrap the deal and start again. No, Boehner replied, he just wanted his members to have a voice. Obama then jumped in to turn the question on his rival: ‘What do you think of the [insurance] plan, John?’ he asked repeatedly. McCain did not answer. One Republican in the room said it was clear that the Democrats came into the meeting with a ‘game plan’ aimed at forcing McCain to choose between the administration and House Republicans. ‘They had taken McCain's request for a meeting and trumped it,’ said this source. Congressional aides from both parties were standing in the lobby of the West Wing, unaware of the discord inside the Cabinet room, when McCain emerged alone, shook the hands of the Marines at the door and left. The aides were baffled. The plan had been for a bipartisan appearance before the media, featuring McCain, Obama and at least a firm statement in favor of intervention. Now, one of the leading men was gone.”  McCain didn’t look at Obama during the debate because he was trying to control his temper; the hostility was so thick it could have been cut with a knife!  Obama defeated McCain in Washington and in the debate!!!!
