It's a scary world we live in, and the "terrorists" are not always easily identified. So, whenever I read an unflattering description of George W. Bush these days, I say a prayer and hope that whoever wrote it or said it has the wherewithal to prepare for retaliation and intimidation (and by the way, it wouldn't hurt to check the underbelly of their automobile). It's hard to believe, but if the names were changed, the circumstances surrounding the condition of our government today would be the tale of an implausible dime store spy novel that, in reality, people would think could never happen in America! But, happening it is, with all the horror and disgust that only George Bush can generate.

Ahh, Bill Maher says it so well and to the point!

KING: Are we better off with Saddam gone?

MAHER: We are not better off. We were never better off because Saddam was actually a bulwark against terrorism...He hated bin Laden. So the world certainly is not better off without Saddam. And I don't know if even Iraq is better off without Saddam. You ask the people in Iraq now. Because you know, we're running out of things that Saddam did that we don't do like torture, rape. About the only one left is mass graves. So in a lot of ways we are Saddam except for one thing, he at least had control of his country.

"It was all hell and damnation." That pretty much sums up the Repuglican Party, their strategies, and their tactics! And if everything else goes the same as the "abstinence only" campaign, then we are all in more trouble than George Bush has "errrs"!

Conrad Burns (R-MN) is another member of the exclusive Band of Crooks, another member of The Party of Bigots, Snobs, and Corruption otherwise known as Repuglicans doing what they do best: demeaning and debasing society, in general! All the while, they do it with both hands out, stockpiling campaign contributions in order to do it all over again!

"It's amazing isn't it," said George Bush down in Mississippi, "what the world looked like then and what it looks like now." It's utterly amazing that the president of the United States has no peripheral vision, and his eyes see only that which is a figment of political photo opportunity! "Bush delivered his remarks...against a carefully orchestrated backdrop of neatly reconstructed homes...a few feet out of camera range stood gutted houses with wires dangling from interior ceilings. A tattered piece of crime scene tape hung from a tree in the field where...Bush spoke. A toilet seat lay on its side in the grass." So much for "help is on the way" -- one whole year later!
