Subject: Baucus Health Care "Reform"

I supported President Obama, and I am a solid liberal; I have never voted for a Republican in my life, and won't start now. But if anything resembling Max Baucus's Insurance Company Enrichment bill actually passes into law, I will stop voting altogether. Maybe I'll try to find a sane country in which to live. The day I am fined by the government for not buying expensive private health insurance is the day I start shopping for a new country. Is it possible that the Dems are so STUPID that they would actually pass such a stinking, stupid bill?

For once, I agree with the Republicans. No bill at all would be better than Baucus's giant wealth transfer from the taxpayer to those wonderful insurance companies.

Actually, without a public option, it's not healthcare reform anyway. It's insurance reform.

Subject: Stupidity: Nature versus Nurture

Is studity a learned behavior? Ironic I know but are there those who make a knowing choice not to learn and therefore learn how not to learn? Do they then grow up to be either Republicans, Newspeople, or Teabaggers? Or is it just in their genes? They just can't help themselves. They just are by modern standards, stupid. Maybe, they are "The Missing Link". Relative to Neanderthal man they are brilliant, but when Cromagnon hit the scene they just are pityful. The recent healthcare issue (I can't call what the opposition is doing a debate for what should be obvious reasons........ they have no arguements)brings this to light. If you watched the Teabagger get together on Saturday, it just sort of made you feel bad.

Now President Carter has raised the issue of racism. And how do the Missing Links try to determine if this is right or not? They are conducting public opinion polls, rather than analyzing behavior. Stupidity, just plain and simple. Is it nature or nurture? I don't need President Carter or President Obama to tell me when I am witnessing racism. The level of disrespect that I witness, the signs that I can read, and the words that I hear tell me all I need to know.

Is Congressman Joe Wilson stupid? Yes. Is it his fault? I don't know. Is Congressman Joe Wilson a racist? Let his words, actions, behavior, and disrespect speak for themselves. Is Rush Limbaugh stupid? Yes. Is it his fault? Yes. Is Rush Limbaugh a racist? Yes. I think by definition racist are stupid. I think those that use opinion polls as a defense against such stupidity are themselves stupid. We need healthcare reform, let's not let the stupid ones, the missing links stop us.

1) Have you or anyone in your family, ever received Medicare or Medicaid?
