Subject: Single Payer is alive and well and we are not going away.

Single Payer Action is still alive. Obamacare forces people to buy insurance from the very companies who have a track record of ripping them off. Baucus is funded by these companies. What is so hard about doing Single Payer? Obama supported the idea in '03. He also criticized Hillary during the primaries for suggesting that people be fined if they do not buy insurance. Why support the very idea he criticized. How would Obamacare reduce costs if people are now forced to buy insurance. The premiums will go even higher because of this force factor. Single Payer advocates are alive and well and we are not going away.

Subject: BuzzFlash is great but what are you doing promoting Mayan prediction nonsense?

I love and admire unbridled willingness to have a go at the crap that constitutes so much of politics and corporate control. For this reason I read BuzzFlash. But when I get an email promoting The Mystery of 2012: Predictions, Prophecies, and Possibilities this worries me greatly, and begs the question: What other kind of superstitious (insert appropriate word) lurks behind this organisation.

I'm not trying to rubbish BuzzFlash, its just such a pity that this kind of wackery is associated with it.

"The moment that Congress establishes single payer, the the mass uprising dedicates itself to troops out now."

"And when this struggle too is won?"

"Empowered now by one victory after another, there'll be no shortage of just battles to be waged - Reversing global warming, nationalization of banks, demilitarization, full employment, free education (pre-school through graduate schools, to mention but a few."

"The common denominator in all these struggles?"

"What'll keep everyone involved?"

"The all for one and one for all.

"Perpetual struggle begets sustainable unity?"
