There were two reports on CNN this morning that I found especially relevant to the human condition in the USA today. The first item was a very sad story. Many years ago, a couple in Florida lost a son that was kidnapped and murdered by a man who is scheduled to die in Florida's death chamber today. The baseball Home Run King has now been officially indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges and it only took three years and millions of tax dollars to make it happen.

So I'm listening to David Dreier (R, Cal) on C-Span today (Nov. 14) telling House members he was "so impressed" by a recent statement by Independent Joe Lieberman that he (Dreier) committed it to memory.
