CNN just posted a story about yet another Trumpertantrum, as the Great Orange Shitgibbet goes increasingly and noisily and totally insane:

Trump erupts at campaign manager as reelection stress overflows

As he huddled with advisers on Friday evening, President Donald Trump was still fuming over his sliding poll numbers and the onslaught of criticism he was facing for suggesting a day earlier that ingesting disinfectant might prove effective against coronavirus.

Within moments, the President was shouting -- not at the aides in the room, but into the phone -- at his campaign manager Brad Parscale, three people familiar with the matter told CNN. Shifting the blame away from himself, Trump berated Parscale for a recent spate of damaging poll numbers, even at one point threatening to sue Parscale. It's not clear how serious the President's threat of a lawsuit was. [emphasis added]

One anonymous source says Trump knows he done wrong:

"He's p*ssed because he knows he messed up in those briefings," one Republican close to the White House said of Trump lashing out.

Or maybe not:

Trump has complained to aides that his restricted travel has hurt his numbers, not the briefings.

Of course. No way it could have been the bleach. Any stable genius can see that!

In the meantime, look for an increasingly desperate Trump to start flailing even more. Since it couldn’t possibly be the bleach brief or other unmentionables, Trump will not be able to resist climbing right back up on that podium and shooting his foot while it’s in his mouth.

Government by toddler tantrum.

It seems Trump had a good reason to get upset. This story just broke about last week’s poll numbers:

Trump presented with grim internal polling showing him losing to Biden

President Trump’s advisers presented him with the results of internal polling last week that showed him falling behind former vice president Joe Biden in key swing states in the presidential race, part of an effort by aides to curtail Trump’s freewheeling daily briefings on the coronavirus pandemic, according to three people with knowledge of the conversations.
