Beto O’Rourke Schools Chris Cuomo On How To Report On The Racist In The White House

CNN’s Chris Cuomo proved why journalists today are failing miserably covering Donald Trump. This time, former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke had a blunt message for Cuomo and his colleagues in the media.
This is a beautiful thing to watch.

Cuomo: And he (Trump) did say, white supremacy is hate and should be treated as domestic terror.
O’Rourke: No. Important for you then to say that this is the same man who called white nationalists, and klansman and neo-nazis ‘very fine people’. Who asked for more immigrants who look like those in Sweden in Norway, that the whitest places on the planet—while describing immigrants from Haiti as ‘full of aids’ or countries in Africa as ‘shit hole nations’.
This is the most racist president we’ve had since perhaps Andrew Johnson—in another age, in another century and he is responsible for the hatred and violence that we’re seeing right now. You can not leave that just to me—to say that. It’s got to be you and those who are helping this country understand what’s happening in our name.
Wow. Just wow.
I love how O’Rourke is challenging journalists to do their damn jobs. Cuomo was schooled here. Donald Trump can’t erase his racism with one phony speech. Journalists like Cuomo and some others seem intent on doing this for Trump and here O'Rourke was having none of it. Keep it up Beto and don’t let up talking truth!
