Julián Castro Lambastes Trump in Withering Ad: "As We Saw in El Paso, Americans Were Killed Because You Stoked the Fire of Racists"

BUZZFLASH NEWS UPDATE
In a TV ad, Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro frontally blamed Donald Trump for the shooting massacre in El Paso.
Castro’s campaign spent just $2,775 for an airing aimed at one person: Donald Trump. The media market the campaign chose is in Bedminster, New Jersey, where Trump is spending vacation at one of his golf clubs. To try to increase the possibility that Trump would see it, the ad only appeared on Fox News.
In the short ad, which was also audaciously tweeted to Trump’s account, Castro directly addresses the president:
President Trump: You referred to countries as shitholes.
You urged American Congresswomen to go back to where they came from. You called immigrants rapists.
As we saw in El Paso, Americans were killed because you stoked the fire of racists. Innocent people were shot down because they look different from you. Because they look like me. They look like my family.
Words have consequences.
Ya basta! [translation from the Spanish: enough, stop]
Many of the Dem presidential contenders are way in front of the mainstream media in calling out and condemning Trump’s overt and crude racism. In this ad buy, also disseminated on social media, Castro boldly holds Trump accountable for pouring gasoline on the fire of white supremacy.
