Trump Met With Sustained Boos (Reaching "Almost 100 Decibels)," Jeers and Cries of "Lock Him Up" and "Impeach Him" When Introduced at Game 5 of the World Series in DC

BUZZFLASH NEWS UPDATE
Donald Trump is not seen much in Washington, DC, outside of the White House, his DC hotel and formal appearances. His attendance at the fifth game of the World Series at Washington National Park the evening of October 27 may explain why.
According to The Washington Post:
When the president was announced on the public address system after the third inning as part of a tribute to veterans, the crowd roared into sustained booing — hitting almost 100 decibels. Chants of “Lock him up” and “Impeach Trump” then broke out at Nationals Park, where a sellout crowd was watching the game between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros…..
During the fifth inning, two men held up signs that read “Veterans for Impeachment” at their seats directly behind home plate. The men, Alan Pitts and Naveed Shah, said they are Iraq veterans who are with Common Defense, an organization for veterans who are against the Trump administration.
The Nationals had not formally invited Trump to the game, and he was denied the traditional honor of a president throwing out the first pitch, but he crashed the game with his GOP cronies including Lindsey Graham and Kevin McCarthy. They sat in a corporate suite, and Trump appeared oblivious to the hostile reception from the sold-out crowd,
It was a day that began with Trump taking credit for the assassination of ISIS terrorist al-Baghdadi, offering, in the morning, self-aggrandizing remarks with sensationalistic gruesome alleged details of the killing. If the World Series crowd was a snap poll, Trump’s hyperbole about US special forces killing the ISIS leader didn’t change his high negatives, at least not in DC.
Trump, left in the 8th inning and brought little luck to the Nationals, according to MarketWatch:
Nationals fans had few other reasons to make noise Sunday — the Astros jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning and cruised to a 7-1 victory, their third straight win as they took a 3-2 series lead. The series now returns to Houston, where the Astros could clinch their second championship in three years on Tuesday.
MarketWatch concluded that the rowdy negative reaction to his presence “was likely not the reaction [he] expected when he attended Sunday night’s World Series game in Washington.” Trump was likely expecting cheers, not jeers.
However, it was the one that he deserved.
